Wasn’t this weekend lovely? It was so nice to have a bit of sunshine back again, and it wasn’t too hot either, which meant that I was a very happy bunny indeed! On Saturday we took a little drive down to Beccles and enjoyed a walk by the river, then on Sunday we chilled out at home and took a stroll to the in-law’s house to hang out in their garden, which is much nicer than ours!
Last week started off quietly, then got mega busy as I worked the whole second half of the week, from Wednesday afternoon onwards. I enjoyed it though, as I went back to two schools that I’d worked at while I was pregnant with Little M, so it was lovely to see some of the staff and children that I’d worked with before.
On Friday night, hubby and I had a date night, as we went to see Olly Murs perform at Thetford Forest. I’d bought hubby tickets as a Christmas present as he’s a bit of a closet Olly fan (apologies to him for outing him on here!) and it was nice to finally go, as we’d been waiting since December! We bumped into some friends there too, which made it all the more enjoyable. Thetford Forest is a great venue and it was so nice being outside, enjoying a bit of live music. Fortunately the rain that was forecast didn’t happen either, making it a perfect night.
This week’s Living Arrows photo was taken on Saturday, after we got home from Beccles. Little M and I spent some time in the garden while dinner was cooking, and I snapped some photos. Little M loves being in the garden and was examining a daisy in this photo. I don’t often take close up photos of her, but I love the look of concentration on her face in this one, and the crazy daisies in the background! Hopefully this good weather will continue so that we can get out and about more this week.
