Living Arrows {2018} 2/53

January 8, 2018

Every week I join in with Living Arrows, a blog linky run by Donna at What the Redhead Said. The name Living Arrows comes from a poem by Kahlil Gibran; “You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth”, and each Monday I share a photo of M and a bit about what we’ve been up to the previous week.

This week has been a strange one; hubby went back to work on Wednesday, so it’s been part-holiday, part re-establishing of routines. M’s classes don’t start until next week, so we’ve filled the time by attending appointments, mostly! On Wednesday I saw the midwife and on Friday I had my Glucose Tolerance Test, which meant I spent nearly three hours at the hospital in total, so it was just as well that M stayed at home with grandma and grandpa! I’ve also spent more time decluttering the spare room ready to make it a nursery, which M has enjoyed ‘helping’ with!

At the weekend, we had a chilled out Saturday; M went to see her grandma and grandpa with Daddy while I stayed at home and got on with some work, then on Sunday we decided to try to make the most of the dry weather, and got the bubble machine out in the morning, before going to Wroxham for a walk in the afternoon.

M absolutely adores her bubble machine, and was thrilled that we went in the garden to play with it for a little while! I love this photo, as you can see the absolute joy on her face. This girl loves a bubble! We’re looking forward to getting back to our classes this week, starting with Bop Tots on Tuesday. M has really developed her dancing skills over Christmas – she loves spinning around and bouncing up and down, so I’m hoping she’ll show them off when she gets to class!

Thank you. She made so many funny faces and squeals of delight while we had the bubbles on! Definitely a favourite here.

Oh my gosh her face says it all in this picture. As strange as it may seem, I feel like I really know your daughter from reading your blog and watching her grow up has been so lovely so seeing her so blissfully happy is a highlight of my week x

Donna, that is such a lovely thing to say. I’ve been reading your blog since before I became a blogger myself, so I kind of feel the same way! Blogging is a funny old world, isn’t it?! x

  3. Such a pretty dress! You can not beat a bubble machine either, hope the classes went well x #LivingArrows
